I have a mental and visual disability verified by Social Security. I live in Newport Beach. I was awarded a very upscale apt in a lihtc (affordable) apartment lottery. All the apartments except mine are landscaped by the windows and patio for privacy. I have been harassed by people walking by. My psychiatrist wrote a letter for an ADA accommodation. My landlord agreed but on 24 inch hedges while everyone has 75 inch hedges. So it’s like a fake accommodation. I have been unable to find an attorney to assist. Thank you. waynereiner@live.com

I am physically disabled and I live on the 6th floor of an apartment building in which the elevator is constantly breaking down. I read a piece about you in The NY Times and was wondering if you could help me or put me in contact with someone who could help take legal action against the management company. I live in NY and I know that the ADA laws in NY and California are different but any help you could give me would be appreciated. The broken elevator is really impacting my life, I can’t leave the apartment and it is not only affecting my daily plans but my mental health as well. nicholasmastor@gmail.com
